Make your own spot on the moon!
If you can't go to the moon any time soon, consider making your own lunar topographic model with the correct proportions to put on your wall! We have made topographic models of the Apollo landing sites, using available topographic maps. You can also consider making your own model or raised relief map, also for spectacular places not visited by the Apollo astronauts. Check out our examples for the Apollo landing sites in the Gallery. The moon is indeed a perfect desert, and it has a beauty of itself with rolling hills, high mountains and a pitch black sky. A truly alien, lonely and fascinating landscape, untouched over the eons. In making the landscapes, we have used what is available from the Apollo program, namely maps and loads of high-res Hasselblad frames in color and b/w, taken by the astronauts from orbit and on the surface. A truly inspiring experience.
