my selections, you can download them here.
Included in the zip is the face.psp, the hair.psp, and the
tile I have used
Let's
start!
Remember
to save often!
1.
Open
a new image 421x530 transparent. Add a new layer, call it
shoe1. Selections>Load from disk>1-shoe1.sel. Flood
fill with black. Deselect.
2.
Add a new layer, call it shoe2. Load from disk 2-shoe2.sel.
Flood fill with #B20404 then Effects>3D effects>Inner
bevel with these settings: then deselect.

3.
Add a new layer, call it shoe3. Load from disk 3-shoe3.sel.
Flood fill with black. Deselect.
4.
Add a
new layer, call it pants back. Load from disk 4-pants back.sel.
Flood fill with the pants-tile that was added in the zip you
downloaded. Then Selections>Float, and Effects>3D effects>Cutout
with these settings, and shadow colour #282F44

5.
Add a
new layer, call it pantcuff back, Load from disk 5-pantcuff
back.sel. Flood fill with the same tile. Then Selections>Float,
and Effects>3D effects>Cutout with the same settings
as above. Deselect.
6.
Add a
new layer, call it pants. Load from disk 6-pants.sel. Flood
fill with the same tile. Then Selections>Float, and Effects>3D
effects>Cutout with the same settings as above but change
the blur to 45. Deselect.
On
the same layer, Load from disk 7-pantshadow.sel. Flood fill
with #293043. Deselect.
On
the same layer. Load from disk 8-pantdetails.sel. Flood fill
with balck. Deselect.
On
the same layer. Load from disk 9-pant details2.sel. Flood
fill with white. Deselect.
7.
Add a
new layer, call it pantscuff. Load from disk 10-pantscuff.sel.
Flood fill with the pants tile. Then Selections>Float,
and Effects>3D effects>Cutout with the same settings
as above but change the blur to 30. Deselect.
On
the same layer. Load from disk 11-cuffdetails.sel. Flood fill
with balck. Deselect.
On
the same layer. Load from disk 12-cuffdetails2.sel. Flood
fill with white Deselect.
8.
Add a new layer, call it hand1. Load from disk 13-hand1.sel.
Flood fill with #FECBAE. Then Selections>Invert and Effects>3D
effects>Dropshadow with these settings, and shadowcolour
#DE9C7A.

Deselect
Then Effects>Noise>Add 3% uniform.
On
the same layer, Load from disk 14-handdetails1.sel. Flood
fill with #E4AB90 Deselect.
9.
Add a new layer, call it arm1. Load from disk 15-arm1.sel.
Flood fill with the jumper tile. Change the scale to 75 and
angle to 84. Selections>Float, and Effects>3D effects>Cutout
with the same settings as in step 4 but change the shadow
colour to #488DC2, blur 25. Deselect.
10.
Add a
new layer, call it cuff1. Load from disk 16-cuff1.sel. Flood
fill with the same tile, same scale and angle. Selections>Float,
and Effects>3D effects>Cutout with the same settings
as above but change the shadow colour to #488DC2, blur 10.
Deselect.
11.
Add a
new layer, call it head. Load from disk 17-head.sel. Flood
fill with #FECBAE. Then Selections>Invert and Effects>3D
effects>Dropshadow with the same settings and colour as
in step 8, but change the blur to 30. Deselect. Then Effects>Noise>Add
3% uniform.
On
the same layer, Load from disk 18-head details.sel. Flood
fill with #E4AB90, Deselect.
12.
Add a
new layer, call it cheeks. Load from disk 19-cheeks.sel. Flood
fill with #E89587. Deselect
On
the same layer, Load from disk 20-highlight.sel Flood fill
with #FFD6C0. Deselect.
13.
Add a
new layer, call it face. Load from disk 21-face.sel. Open
up the face.psp that was added in the zip. Edit>Copy. Then
close the face.psp. Open up your image again, Then Edit>Paste>Into
selection. The face should now be at the right place.
14.
Add a
new layer, call it jumper. Load from disk 22-jumper.sel. Flood
fill with your jumper tile, scale 75 and angle 11 this time.
Selections>Float, and Effects>3D effects>Cutout with
the same settings as in step 4 but change the shadow colour
to #488DC2, blur 25. Deselect.
15.
Add a new layer, call it jumper2. Load from disk 23-jumper2.sel.
Flood fill with the same tile, same scale and angle. Selections>Float,
and Effects>3D effects>Cutout with the same settings
as above but change the shadow colour to #488DC2, blur 10.
Deselect.
16.
Add a
new layer, call it hair. Load from disk 24-hair.sel. Open
up the hair.psp that was added in the zip. Edit>Copy. Then
close the face.psp. Open up your image again, Then Edit>Paste>Into
selection. The hair should now be at the right place.
17.
Add
a new layer, cal it ear. Load from disk 25-ear.sel Flood fill
with #FECBAE. Then Selections>Invert and Effects>3D
effects>Dropshadow with the same settings and colour as
in step 8, but change the blur to 15. Deselect. Then Effects>Noise>Add
3% uniform.
On
the sam layer. Load from disk 26-ear shadow. sel. Flood fill
with #E4AB90. Deselect.
18.
Add a
new layer, call it hand2. Load from disk 27-hand2.sel. Flood
fill with #FECBAE. Then Selections>Invert and Effects>3D
effects>Dropshadow with the same settings and coulour as
in step 8. Deselect. Then Effects>Noise>Add 3% uniform.
19.
On the same layer, Load from disk 28-hand details2.sel. Flood
fill with #E4AB90 Deselect.
20.
Add a new layer, call it arm2. Load from disk 29-arm2.sel.
Flood fill with the jumper tile. Change the scale to 75 and
angle to 84. Selections>Float, and Effects>3D effects>Cutout
with the same settings as in step 4 but change the shadow
colour to #488DC2, blur 25. Deselect.
21.
Add a new layer, call it cuff2. Load from disk 30-cuff2.sel.
Flood fill with the same tile, same scale and angle. Selections>Float,
and Effects>3D effects>Cutout with the same settings
as above but change the shadow colour to #488DC2, blur 10.
Deselect.
You
are done with your baby boy now. But he need somting to play
with doesn't he? Well the rest part is up to you, but i'll
tell you what I did. First hide layer 1 and go to Layers>Merge>All
visible. Then Image>Resize in percentage of original type
75. Make sure that "resize all layers is NOT checked.
Then
move the little babyboy a little bit down in the image. Then
make a ball for him with your preset shape tool, with shape
ellipse. Add a new layer, call it ball. Shut off your foreground
colour, set #FF4040 as your background colour and make a ball
in the size you like for him. Then Selections>Select all,
and then Selections>Invert, Effects>3D effects>Dropshadow
with the same settings as in step 8, but change the blur to
25 and colour to #A80000. Deselect. Then Effects>Noise>Add
3% uniform.
Then
add a new layer and with your preset shapes, colour white
this time, make a tiny ellispe. Then turn it a little with
your deformationtool like this:

Then
last thing, Effects>Blur>Gaussian Blur, set radius to
5. and then you are finished.
