ANTARCTICA SPLIT-UP! After 6 years in arms, the Antarctica warfare have decided to split up! Over the years the members have grown apart, both mentally and musical, and at this point of no return all parts agreed to bury the band. The last album, "Current 11", will be the last chapter released from the mouth of madness. We haven't decided how to release this album yet, but hopefully we will have the chance to do so through a record label or so, so that you can get the opportunity to check out the deathmetal-act that have spawned in the underground for several years. The members of Antarctica will be seen within the stage, in some way or another, in the future. Morten Skogen has gotten several offers from other bands wanting him as their drummer and we wish him the best of luck in wherever his path may lead him. As far as myself and the musical brain behind the whole Antarctica-concept, Frode Ramsland, we have joined forces and created a monster more extreme then ever! Where one epoch finishes, another epoch starts, and from the ashes of the Antarctica-carcass a new deathmetal band SHAARIMOTH has risen. We have already begun to write material for the new act, and I promise that SHAARIMOTH will come back HARDER and STRONGER than ever, leaving nothing but the stench of rotting bodies as we FORCE our way back to the scene, separating the sheep from the wolves! I also want to use this opportunity to thank all the persons, magazines, webzines, bands, labels and close friends we have been in contact with and whom have supported us over the years!
